T&T - News: The best boats up to 45,000 euros
In its latest issue, YACHT presents cruising boats between 24 and 29 feet

A brand new coastal cruiser or a second-hand, seaworthy yacht - this is the decision facing all those who want to spend between 25,000 and 45,000 euros on their new boat. To help you make the right choice, the new YACHT (in newsagents from Wednesday) not only provides a detailed market overview, but also offers numerous tips and advice for the purchase.

From the Dehler 25 CR to the Gora III and the Kron 70 to the Sunbeam 24: the ten most popular small cruisers for beginners are presented in brief profiles, including the most important boat data and a compact YACHT rating. In the sea sailing section, five boats are presented in detail, including classics such as the Optima 101, the Etap 28 and the Vindö 32, while a list of over 20 other boats shows what else is happening on the second-hand boat market.

YACHT regularly presents the most popular new and used boats, highlighting their particular strengths and weaknesses and giving specific purchase recommendations. This began in issue 13/2001 with sailing boats for beginners that cost no more than 12,500 euros. Issue 22/01 presented coastal cruisers in the price range up to 25,000 euros. Anyone who missed one of these issues can contact the YACHT reader service (telephone 040/33966680 or e-mail: leserdienst@yacht.de ). Following this instalment, YACHT will be presenting boats costing over 45,000 euros in an upcoming issue.

If you have already made your decision, you will find further support on the YACHT website. In the " Test & Technology " there are model contracts for both the Used boat as well as for the New boat purchase. In addition: a Checklist for the test drive. This means that the prospective owner knows what to look out for.
